The captain of luxury motor yacht “Happy Spirit” is 37 years old Ivan Grbic.
He was born in Split, Croatia, where he completed his education on the Maritime College. After finishing the college he was sailing for five years all around the world on numerous ships where he has gained wide navigational experience.
Since 2005 Ivan has been working as captain on different yachts – Sunseeker Manhattan 64 “Donald” for two years, Sunseeker Manhattan 84 “Sir Oliver” and Sunseeker Manhattan 80 “Daisy D” for three years. Since the beginning of the 2011 Ivan is captain of Azimut Jumbo 100 “Happy Spirit”. Ivan and the chef Ivica Malenica have been working together for four years. Together with the other two crew members they make an amazing team which received many significant compliments in the 2011 season.
The whole crew speaks fluently English and is very well educated.
They are one of the best crews on the Adriatic Sea!
