Croatia has several UNESCO-protected World Cultural Heritage Sites, which you can easily visit while on your luxury yacht charter.

Croatia is bountiful with amazing artworks, historical sites and cultural monuments. Croatian culture forms an important part of Western European culture altogether with its extended branch towards the Southeastern Europe.

There are a total of eight World Heritage Sites in Croatia, with six cultural sites and two natural sites. The six cultural sites are comprised of three urban towns and three historical architectural complexes, and they are:

Trogir

This historic city is an outstanding example of urban community. Trogir unites Roman, Baroque and Renaissance architecture in one and got its place on the UNESCO's World Heritage Sites due to its superlative beauty and cultural value.

Stari Grad (Hvar)

It is one of the largest and most fertile plain on all of the Adriatic islands. Stari Grad Plain is an exclusive agricultural landscape of grapes and olives that has been preserved since Greek times to the present.

Old City of Dubrovnik

Also known as the “Pearl of the Adriatic”, located on the Dalmatian coast and is quite famous for its cultural heritage. The walls of the Dubrovnik are perfectly preserved complex of buildings which represents all periods of the city's history.

Diocletians Palace in Split

The historic complex of Split along with the attractive Palace of Diocletian is both an urbanistic and an archaeological monument that has been in use since the Roman Era. This palace is truly a jewel, an open air museum that never fails to entice visitors from across the globe.

Basilica of Euphrasius in Porec

One of the most precious cultural monument in the beautiful city of Porec. Episcopal complex of the Euphrasian Basilica is an excellent instance of an early episcopal ensemble that is truly amazing by virtue of its completeness and its exclusive Basilican Cathedral.

The Cathedral of St. James in Šibenik

Though this is less known to tourists than Split and Dubrovnik but Šibenik is one of the most naturally protected harbors on the Adriatic Coast and has so much to offer to its visitors. Šibenik's Cathedral, which is also one of the attractions of the city and is famous for its unique structural characteristics.
