The captain of 40 m long luxury yacht cruiser named La Perla is 33 years old Josip Padjen, He was born in Gospic in Croatia. In 1991 he moved to Split and on 1997 he graduated on Split Maritime School. He has 13 years worldwide seagoing experience on different types of vessels.

He started his carrier on bulk carriers and continued on container ships.

In 2004 he started his career on deluxe cruisers. From 2004 till 2011 he was working on small deluxe cruisers MS “Andrea” and MY “Monet” as second officer and first officer.

In 2011 he started as captain on MY “La Perla”.He has very friendly and easygoing personality, excellent navigational experience and speaks fluently English.
