In major the Croatia has eight national parks; National Park Brijuni, National Park Kornati, National Park Krka, National Park Plitvice lakes, National Park Mljet, National Park Risnjak, National Park North Velebit and National Park Paklenica.

The Paklenica National park in Croatia reaches out from the eastern shore of the Adriatic to the most astounding tops of the Velebit Mountains. The adventures part in park has 70 caves but some is open for view Manita Pec is one of them. The center of attention in Paklenica Park has two amazing canyons of Velika and Mala Paklenica, top to bottom cut into the hill from the sea to the Velebit's huge mountains.

The Brijuni island is divided from the landmass by the two-miles-wide Fazana Route to the north west of Pula. Brijuni archipelago situated near Istria is group of islands. Veli Brijun that is famous national park in Croatia is the main island at there. The island is blessed with natural beauty of flora and fauna.

Krka river is declared as national park in 1985 because the natural charming beauty & geological features. To enter into the park you have to spend from 30 to 110kn, and for children 7-18 years from 20 to 80kn and entry will be from Skradin town. North Velebit declared national park in 1999 which is the youngest park in Croatia. Rozanski and Hajducki Kukovi are the main attraction of North Velebit. Usually tourist chooses one from Plitvice and Krka, because they are similar.

The National Park Kornati is made up of around 130 mini islands and taken as yachting/sailing tourism. Kornat is the largest island from the other islands Piskara, Kurba Vela, Zut, Sit, Vrgada and Levrnak.

Risnjak national park is situated in Gorski kotar and far 15 km inland from the Adriatic Sea. Park area is created mostly of limestone and dolomite and heavily forested region in the city.
